About the Image
When it comes to creating collage art, I take a surreal approach and leave it up to the viewer to interpret what they see. My intention is to captivate the audience and encourage them to uncover something new every time they look at my work. One of my pieces, Butterfly Blues, is a celebration of my admiration for these magnificent creatures and the vibrancy they bring to our world during their brief existence. The original collage art features bright blue paper butterflies adorned with jewel-encrusted circles set against a basketweave placemat.
