"These two nuthatches have been raising their young in this nest box for years. They are loyal to each other and loyal to their territory. Boring? Not at all! It's finally spring and he's looking at her with fresh eyes.
Our garden in the woods looks as if somebody from high above sprinkled crocus flowers everywhere. A purple blanket is draped over the lawn. Our dog Yogi is quite curious by nature and every time I bend down to take a closer look at one of the flowers he has to be right by my side. Unfortunately he has large paws... poor delicate crocuses."
