About the artist

This painting, the third of four commissioned by the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, shows the youth season of southeastern Minnesota. The scene is my own farm and the deer stand is called Heather's Stand, where my daughter Heather took her first deer when she was only thirteen years old.
