"This scene depicts an opening day of duck season as I envision it. The locale is a northern Indiana marsh, but it could be any one of thousands of wetland areas throughout North America. The day is turning out warmer than we would have hoped, with a light breeze and sunny "bluebird skies". The autumn colors, now at their peak, are brilliant. The bird movements have been plentiful with many sightings of ducks working back and forth in the distance. A small flock of twelve mallards decides that this is their destination and pitches to our marsh."

Limited edition of 1,500 signed and numbered prints from the original oil painting. Image size, 16 1/2" x 25".
