“Over my many years of observing loons, I have been frustrated by what I could share in a painting of these special birds. With triptych 'Seasons of the Lake' I was able to come closer to sharing the pleasures and pains of observing a loon family over three seasons. Though not as noticeable now, the grown chicks are preparing for their first trip south.”
