Phil Scholer
Minnesota native, Phil Scholer is recognized for his use of dramatic lighting sources and high contrast environments. His work can be described as realistic, but also impressionistic in style. Much of the material used in his paintings is derived from his own personal experiences. Phil travels extensively in search of ideas for his paintings, often settling on his favorite subjects, primarily birds and fishing scenes.
Through displays of his work at galleries and exhibitions across the country, Phil has firmly established himself in the ranks of a new generation of wildlife artists.
