Patricia Kobetsky
Comical portrayals of Northwood’s animals, shorebirds, fish and other natural creatures are becoming signature images for self-taught artist, Patrica Kobestky. A North Dakota native, she grew up drawing unique, cheerful illustrations, which make people smile.
Simple white backgrounds with colorful subjects allow the viewer to focus on the subject and visual story. Patricia creates a personality for each of her characters. Moose, black bear and raccoons seem to enjoy camping, canoeing and hiking; grapes take pleasure in frolicking in a “pool” of wine; and flamingos strutting their stuff dressed as fancy Divas.
Patricia Kobestky’s whimsical illustrations are now available for license through Wild Wings Licensing.
