Zac Kinkade

Zachary Thomas Kinkade, Thomas Kinkade’s nephew, was born in 1992 and has been passionate about art his entire life. Beginning when he was 11, Zachary began entering and winning national and regional art competitions and shows. Deciding that art was his calling, Zac submitted a portfolio to the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Art and was accepted to the school in preparation of formal university training the arts. During this time, Zac also attended Tarrant County College to study art and most significantly began apprenticing at the Thomas Kinkade Company to explore his own aesthetic vision. Zac continued these relationships while attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, where he eventually graduated with honors from that academy’s prestigious school of art and architecture.

THE PREMIER COLLECTION - LIMITED EDITION ART

While the magic of Old Saint Nick fills the hearts of all those who love Christmas, he is not the only one responsible for our yule-tide holiday traditions. Indeed, he may deliver the toys to the millions of deserving children who are listed on his "nice" list but, it is the North Pole Elves that make the gifts in the amounts needed to fill the space under the tree. Santa's little helpers are there to launch Santa and his bountiful sack on his hurried flight to the houses of all believers. Put simply, he needs them to fulfill his Christmas Eve calling. I try to capture both the enchantment and practical effort of these magic helpers in my latest holiday painting, Santa’s Little Helper.

A young elf (or maybe ancient) works tirelessly at his table creating a toy train designed to delight its soon-to-be recipient. The portrait Santa bears witness to the task as the job is completed. In recognizing the effort, I say, "Cheers to the Elves" and all they do to make our holidays special. And I also say, "Cheers to You" for joining me in my adventure in art.
