Due to some early snow this year the cows are coming down early from the alpine meadows this year. My own cows, Edelweiss and Anna, are also walking with farmer Toni's herd. Rosa has a problem with one of her hoofs and so she gets to come down in a trailer. I suppose the only time you don't want to see this parade is when you're stuck behind it trying to get somewhere in a hurry. The cows take up the whole road walking slowly from high in the mountains, through the village and to the barn where they will spend the winter. Oftentimes the cows are decorated with flowers on their heads and they always have a bell around their neck.
