When I was a kid, mom used to hang laundry on the clothesline on nice days. There is a certain nostalgia attached to those days for me, since most of the time nowadays the laundry is dried in a machine. It occurred to me that a puppy in the middle of clean laundry would bring up familiar memories to many folks as well.
