Feu D’Artifice Papillon, or “Butterfly Fireworks,” is a mixed-media fine art collage that showcases my passion for butterflies. I created this piece using acrylic paint, cut paper, glass papillons, and digital manipulation to create a vibrant and dynamic composition of butterflies. I was inspired by seeing different species of butterflies flying around my home in Surfside, Florida, and I wanted to capture their beauty and diversity geometrically and abstractly. This piece is part of my ongoing exploration of the relationship between nature and design and how they can complement each other in harmony.
