As she grew older, An discovered the films of Studio Ghibli and was instantly captivated by the magical worlds and stunning landscapes portrayed in their movies. The blend of fantasy and reality, the intricate details and the use of color in the films, inspired her to incorporate these elements into her own artwork. An's work often reflects her love of nature and her desire to explore the intersection between reality and fantasy. Her paintings feature vivid colors, intricate details, and a sense of whimsy that transports the viewer into her world. Today, An is recognized for her unique style and her ability to capture the essence of nature and fantasy in her paintings using gouache and poster color.
