There is one particular spot on the driveway that appeals to our local Indigo bunting. It is a shaded stretch of the driveway and so you barely see him, his plumage is very dark. Every time we leave the house I ask my husband Gaston to drive very slowly just in case the Indigo bunting is sitting on the driveway. And this time of year he usually is! While his plumage may be dark in the shade just wait until a ray of sunlight hits his feathers!!! Wow! Such a beautiful bright color blue…
