Beatty Buck - Whitetail Deer
About This Artwork
“On November 8, 2000, Mike Beatty of Xenia, Ohio, shot the biggest whitetail deer ever taken by a hunter. On that day, Mike was bowhunting in a row of trees along a brushy fence line in central Ohio. The fence line connected two tracts of woods about a half of mile apart and was otherwise surrounded by mostly open farmland. It didn’t exactly look like the kind of place where you would expect to find a world record buck but looks can be deceiving.”
