Sam Timm

The rich colors, use of light and meticulous detailing in each artwork offer viewers a great deal of insight into the world of Sam Timm. As a dedicated minister, father, husband and outdoorsman, his life experiences provide him with a wealth of inspiration from which to paint. Those inspirations coupled with fond memories of his childhood in Wisconsin appear in the serene images for which Timm has become famous. Timm’s reputation for excellence is well-known throughout the world of wildlife art. In just over a decade he has won 12 conservation stamp and art competitions including the National Wildlife Federation Conservation Stamp. To date, Timm is one of two artists to win all five Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources hunting and fishing stamp design competitions.
